JLS: "The Tour Is Going To Be Emotional"

The JLS Greatest Hits album is out today, as the band prepare for their final 'Goodbye' UK tour. And last week, I sat down with the lads for one final time.

After 7 years together, 5 UK No.1's, 5 MOBOS, 2 Brit Awards and 13 hit singles the lads announced back in April, that this December tour would be their last. Which means it all comes to end at London's 02, on December 22nd.

JB told me " we're going out in style, 100%! We're going to bring an electric performance and we're performing with a band for the first time on tour, so that's something to look forward to but even for us it'd going to be emotional but of course for our fans, friends and family it's going to be, well..I can't put into words what it's going to be like."

And the good news for all JLSters is that "the show will be different every night.. the set list will change through each show, so that's the good thing and that's the organic thing that we can produce this year. Everything is going to be unexpected as it's our show and there's no CD player this year. Anything can happen, so that's a JLS tour."
So no two shows will be the same? I like it.

And what about a possible future? Is it never say never? Aston stressed the point "if we think about doing something in five year or ten years, then it deflates the legacy we're leaving as right now this is the final JLS single, album and a final farewell tour and this is it, as MJ said.."

Having interviewed the band on countless occasions since 2008, I'm also happy to confirm that the band remain the nicest and most professional act out there. They really are the best at what they do. It really has been pleasure documenting their story for Capital FM and countless other media outlets.

So play the Greatest Hits loud, practice your back-flips and prepare to see the lads deliver on stage, one final time. Goodbye JLS and thank you..
