The Saturdays Talk Chasing The Saturdays On E!

The Saturdays are back with a brilliant new single and a brand new TV show.

The "All Fired Up" stars let cameras capture and document their every move Stateside, giving fans a unique insight into what life is really like for a Saturday with both the ups and downs all played.

Mollie, Una, Frankie, Vanessa and Rochelle's first ever reality TV series began broadcasting on E! February 3rd with critics and fans on both sides of the Atlantic reacting positively to the show. I for one love it.

Speaking to me at E!'s London press launch for the show, Una admitted "we're just so excited and we're getting a really positive response from America so we just hope our UK fans enjoy it."

A beaming Mollie added "it hasn't really sunken in that we're really doing this and when we were in America we saw our advert playing on the same channel as The Kardashians and we were like woah, what are doing on the same channel as The Kardashians?! But now it's slowly sinking in."

So after making the decision to move out to LA for three months were the ladies scared by the prospect of leaving the UK?

Vanessa confessed "we were nervous about going out there in the first place because three months is quite a long time but we literally had so much fun and we met some amazing people." Una was to quick clarify "..and we did get some work done, despite what you might think. We recorded our first ever US album and met some inspiring people like Rodney Jerkins and Diane Warren.."

The series also features the moment Rochelle proudly showed off her baby bump for the first time. Mrs Humes told me "I'm worried that the poor baby is going to be like, Mum you're not cool. Stop trying to be cool! But it's nice in a way,as like you say, I found out that I was pregnant during filming so it's quite nice to document it but I can't wait for the end result, it's not easy despite what people say..but I'm getting there."

As well as scenes of the ladies enjoying a trip to the MTV VMAs, hitting Rodeo Drive and performing at Perez Hilton's party, the series also features some some emotional confessions from Frankie, who opens up about her battle with depression.

She told me "9 times out of ten we are upbeat but we're also human beings so I think it's important for fans to realise that we are human beings and we're not shiny happy people twenty four seven.."

Now I thought I knew The Sats. I even conducted their first ever interview. But trust me; watch the show and see the ladies as you've never seen them before. I loved the fact that their true personalities shine through our screens, especially Vanessa's amazing dry wit.

Chasing The Saturdays airs on E! New single What About Us is out on March 17th.
