Spike Lee "Watch Bad 25 With An Open Heart And Mind"

Hundreds of lucky Michael Jackson fans got the chance to see the brand new Michael Jackson documentary film "Bad 25" directed by Spike Lee, at it's London premiere last Sunday.

Spike Lee's new film celebrates Michael Jackson's 1987 album "Bad" as well as the 1987/88 Bad World Tour and is being released as part of the release of the Bad 25 album on September 17th.

The amazing film contains previously unseen archive footage of Michael recording in studio, rehearsing for various short-films and clips from his Wembley Stadium Bad show which was watched by the late Princess Diana. The likes of Quincy Jones, Siedah Garrett, Kanye West, Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber all feature in Spike's documentary alongside the key musicians and choreographers that worked with Michael on both the album and tour.

Speaking to me at the UK premiere, which I was honoured to host, Spike Lee told me 'that I want people to come see my film with an open mind and an open heart and you will not be disappointed. It's time for people to discover Bad again and appreciate it without thinking that it was the album that followed Thriller. Let's remember the joy that Michael Jackson brought to all our lives.."

John Branca, co-executor of the Michael Jackson Estate also attended the premiere and told fans that the Estate are planning to release more of Michael's live performances over the next few years.

Bad 25 is out September 17th featuring the DVD of the Wembley July 16th 1988 show, remixes and previously unreleased demo tracks taken from the Bad recording sessions.
