Rita Ora "I'm Genuinely Nervous And Scared About The BRITs"

Rita Ora will celebrate an amazing year when she attends the Brits 2013 tomorrow night (Wednesday) as a triple nominee.

The 'Radioactive' and Roc Nation star is nominated for Best British Breakthrough, Best British Single and twice in Best Single, including her collaboration with DJ Fresh.

Speaking to me backstage on her brilliant Radioactive UK tour, Rita confessed "I'm trying not to think about, I get so nervous when I think about it..I don't know what to expect. I mean I went to the Brits last year and nobody knew who I was and now I'm going there with three nominations but we'll see what happens. It would be incredible to win one but I'm scared. I'm genuinely nervous and scared as it's the Brits..there's nothing better than that. We'll see what happens.."

Emeli Sande, Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake will be performing on stage at London's 02 at the big show and Rita is particularly excited about seeing JT!

"Oh. My. God! What?! Now I'm really excited, I love Justin. I love that new song..it's going to be a big party I can see it.."

So which Brit would Rita really like to win? " I mean I would love to get Breakthrough. It is the public vote so that's the one I'd know I've done a really good job, so yeah that would be incredible."

And after spending the last few weeks touring the UK, appearing on the Graham Norton show and appearing at London Fashion Week, what's next for Rita?

"We're going everywhere; Spain, Italy, Australia and Japan. We've got a lot of things we do over there , so we've got lots of shows..and it's great that Radioactive is blowing up in Australia right now, it's cool.."

And as well as a guest vocal on the new K Koke single "Lay Down Your Weapons" Rita has also recorded a collaboration with Snopp Dogg, or whatever he calls himself..

" It was incredible to go to Thailand with Snoop, we got a song called Torn Apart for his new album so we shot the video there, rode some elephants and ate great pad thai. The track is a reggae based but it's also produced by Diplo so  it's got that current sound to it, it's very much like a raw guerrilla track and video. It's cool."

Good luck at the Brits Rita. I think you'll be winning at least one award..
