Collabro "Our Album Proves We Deserve This"

The debut album from Collabro is out this week and looks set to debut at No.1 on the UK albums chart.

The winners of Britain's Got Talent 2014 are challenging Ed Sheeran for the top slot on Sunday, after releasing their debut album "Stars" on Monday on Syco Records.

The album, recorded in just ten weeks, features a mix of musical theatre and contemporary songs including title song "Stars" from Les Miserables, "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen and a cover of John Legend's "All of Me." And a rather brilliant album it is too, showcasing the lads' vocal ability and versatility.

Jamie, Michael, Thomas, Matt and Richard genuinely surprised fans at the London production of Les Miserables last week when they joined the cast of the hit West-End show by performing two songs at the curtain call much to the delighted of the audience.

Speaking to me about securing a UK number one album, Jamie told me "We love Ed Sheeran, you know he's the most talented artist and the album is brilliant..so for us to be even considering knocking him from the number slot is a dream come true.."

The band also paid tribute to mentor Simon Cowell, their fans, life on the road, and their plans for the Royal Variety Performance- which might involve dressing up!

Oh and check out their a cappella of "Let It Go."

Have a listen to my interview the Collabro lads below. Their debut album is out now.
